Sam is an award-winning filmmaker and artist from Calgary, Alberta who attended their undergraduate degree program at the Alberta University of the Arts. Having graduated in 2023 with a major in Illustration and Character Design and a minor in Animation, they are passionate about storytelling through art and enjoy weaving narratives into the work that they make.
Their first animated short Progenitor was awarded Best Student Film of 2023 at the Edmonton Short Film Festival. They are currently working on a new upcoming film project, set to premiere in 2026.
